ABOUT ME


Hi, I'm Melissa! I am here to share with you the joys of yoga and wellness. I want to get you feeling good from the inside out. Yoga has been a game changer in my life, from gaining flexibility and strength to allowing space for peace and creativity. I know that many people think they "can't do" yoga. Let me show you why I believe that yoga is for everyone, yes, everyone. There is so much more to yoga than the beautiful poses one can create with their body. It's about living a lifestyle of inner and outer wellbeing.

I began studying and learning about physical health in 2018. I then received my 200-hour yoga teacher training through the amazing Yoga Assets school. This is where I learned what the real purpose of yoga is. I am so excited to share my knowledge and passion to help others heal and grow. Join me on a journey of improving our minds, bodies, and souls in a way that will impact us for the rest of our lives.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. I love working with beginners. I will walk you through poses one step at a time, so even if you are brand new to yoga, you will still be able to follow along.

No. You will move at your own pace only in ways that feel safe to you. I will also provide different variations of the poses so that you can find the best position for your own body.

At the moment, I do not have a regular class schedule with Yoga by Melissa. Instead, I have decided to allow my creativity to flow to its fullest capacity with yoga workshops.
